Summary: Unified quantum logic which is a propositional logic
underlying
quantum formalism is given a new, much simplified axiomatization.A
statistical basis for this propositional logical system isgiven so as to
interpret unified quantum logic as a system ofdeduction. The soundness and
completeness of algebraic semanticsare proved. Kripkean and probabilistic
semantics are discussed.

Summary: It is shown that an orthomodular lattice is an ortholattice
inwhich a UNIQUE operation of bi-implication corresponds to theequality
relation and that the ordering relation in the binaryformulation of quantum
logic are completely irrelevant for their
axiomatization. The soundness and completeness theorems for the
corresponding algebraic unified quantum logic are proved. Arepresentation
of quantum logic by means of a new YES-NO relationis given.

Summary: It is shown that an orthomodular lattice can be axiomatized
as an ortholattice with a unique operation of bi-implicationinstead of the
operation implication and a correspondingalgebraic unified quantum logic is
formulated. A novel YES-NOrepresentation of quantum logic is provided which
prompts aconjecture about a possible completion of quantum logic by
means of probabilistic forcing.

Summary: Spin-correlated interferometry of the fourth order for
independent polarized as well as unpolarized photons arriving
simultaneously at a beam splitter and exhibiting spin
correlation while leaving it is formulated and discussed inquantum
approach. The beam splitter is recognized as a source
of genuine singlet photon states. Also, typical nonclassicalbeating between
photons taking part in the interference of thefourth order is given a
polarization-dependent explanation.

Summary: We propose a new experiment employing two independent
sources ofspin correlated photon pairs. Two photons from
differentunpolarized sources each pass through a polarizer to a detector.
Although their trajectories never mix or cross they exhibit
fourth-order-interference-like correlations when the other two
photons interfere on a beam splitter even when the latter two do
not pass any polarizers at all. A wave packet calculation showsthat the
experiment permits a very discriminatory test of hiddenvariable theories.

Summary: A nonclassical feature of the fourth--order interference at
abeam splitter, that genuine photon spin singlets are emitted
inpredetermined directions even when incident photons areunpolarized, has
been used in a proposal for an experiment thatimposes quantum spin
correlation on truly independent photons. Inthe experiment two photons from
two such singlets interfere at abeam splitter, and as a result the other
two photons---whichnowhere interacted and whose paths nowhere
crossed---exhibit a100Đ%Đ correlation in polarization, even when no
polarization hasbeen measured in the first two photons. The propsed
experimentpermits closure of the remaining loopholes in the Bell
theoremproof, reveals the quantum nonlocality as a property ofselection,
and pioneers an experimental procedure for exactpreparation of unequal
superposition.

Title: Preselection with Certainty of Photons in a Singlet State

Summary: It is shown that one can preselect with certainty photons
in thesinglet state from a set of completely unpolarized andindependent
photons which did not in any way directly interactwith each other - without
in any way affecting them. The resultis based on an experiment which puts
together two unpolarizedphotons from two independent singlet pairs, makes
them interferein the fourth order on a beam splitter so as to preselect
thesinglet state of the other two photons from the pairs although
nopolarization measurement has been carried out on the photonscoming out
from the beam splitter. One can obtain the expectationvalue for the
correlated state of the former two unpolarizedphotons in the Hilbert space
and therefore write down the singletstate for them but one apparently
cannot infer the state withinthe Hilbert space. This might sugest that the
Hilbert space isnot a maximal model for quantum measurements.

Summary: Two newly discovered effects in the intensity interference:
aspin correlation between formerly unpolarized photons and a
spinentanglement at-a-distance between photons that nowhereinteracted have
been used for a proposal of a new preselectionexperiment. The experiment
puts together two photons from twosinglets formed at two beam splitters and
makes them interfere ata third beam splitter, and as a result one finds
polarization
correlations between the other two photons whose paths nowhere
crossed even when no polarization measurement have been carried
out on the former two photons. It also turns out that the set oftwo photons
that nowhere interacted contains a subset of photonsin the singlet state
and since we are able to extract thesephotons with probability one, we can
consider them preselected bytheir pair-companion photons that interfered at
the beamsplitter. In this contribution a generalization of the
obtainedresults to photons is carried out and the
correspondingsub-Poissonian statistics which boil down to a
photon-numbersqueezed distribution is formulated.

Summary: A loophole-free Bell experiment using different frequency
photon interference of the fourth order on a beam splitter
is proposed. It enables detection of all photons leaving
the beam splitter, establishes an experimental procedure for
measuring unequal superposition without loss of detection
counts, and requires not more then 75% detection efficiency
to be feasible within the margins of more than 5% with the
current technology.

Summary: It is shown that the coincidence probabilities in
thefourth-order interference at an asymmetrical beam splitterviolate the
usual form of the Bell inequality with 67% detection
efficiency. No condition on the optimization method is imposedand no
background level is involved. It is also shown that aloophole-free Bell
experiment with a symmetric beam splitter ispossible with 86% efficiency. A
loophole-free Bell experimentrequiring 67% efficiency with independent
photons preselectedinto a non-maximal singlet-like state by means of an
asymmetricalbeam splitter is proposed without resorting to attenuation
ofbeams.
