    Summary: During the operation of a power system substation information occure stohasticaly. Based on a wide range of research, the paper defines the empirical frequency distribution for the change of the information state of characteristic substation parts. Approximation procedure is done for emphirical distributions using adequate theoretical functions in the form of selected polynomials of n-deegres.

In the paper both the space of elementari events and the space of electric power system probabilites proces information are presented on the level of components as well as on the level of the whole system. The process information group with n-dimensional random values is described, end then a method for transforming the n-dimensional random values is presented by means of the function D into one dimensional space. The model is used for the computer calculation of process events restoring times.

    Summary: In this paper all relevant factors affecting reduction factor value of laid telecommunicatin cable with insulated sheath are analysed in detail. Transmission parameters of homogeneous/nonhomogeneous earth as return conductor are also analysed and taken into account.     Summary: The units of processed information of various technical systems have mainly stochastic values and they are favourably presented modularly by distribution components of system and by type of information by which this plant is described. Components moduli and type moduli which represent source of process information, can be described by n-random variables. In real technical system it is necessary to observe all information moduli at the same time, so it is necessary to transform n-dimensional probability range in one-dimensional induced probability range by using combinations and probability theory. In this paper procedure for realising discrete induced probability range is described for quantitative observation of process information in various locations and types.

    Summary: Proces data flow, relized by process computer systems and data communication networks, are the basis of present technical control systems of electrical power system. The stochastical model of process data flows from their origine in the power plants to their use in the remote control centers is defined. First the set of process data and their events is modelled at the level of electric power plants. The basis of the model are functional and informational modules structured threedimensionaly. The space of elementary events is defined together with algebra of events and probability space of process data events. To achieve the modularity of the model the discrete probability distributions of the level of functional-informational submodules are defined. Next n-dimensional random variable is mapped into one-dimensional probability space. The elements of the range of this function are discrete probability distributions at the level of electric power plants. The model of stochastic process data is based on the statistical research of the real-time data, acquired by microprocessor units in the power plants. The research included 20 electric power plants with more then 200 functional modules. In approximately 7400000 five second time intervals 50000 dynamic process data is processed. The computer programme for calculating the dynamics and the time ofthe refreshment of process data in the remote power system control centers is given at the end of the thesis.

    Title: Hidden failures in probability analysis of protection system reliability

    Summary: Protective relay system failures till power system fault appears and protection system maloperates. Unknown duration of hidden failures makes probability analysis of protection system reliability complex. Firstly, the operation functions of protection system are introduced, and various quality indexes of reliability are defined. The hidden failures are completely identified, and the reliability of the protective system equipment encounters power system faults can be evaluated by so called operational reliability. Therefore the mathematical model for operational reliability evaluation is introduced. The first simple model is developed in steps by adding the parameters. The influence of each parameter on operational reliability is anlysed. As a method for detection hidden failures model includes manual periodic protective system testing and analysis during power system faults. Automatic built-in self-chacking of protective system is also briefly mentioned.
