Summary: The paper is on entropy and semantics of process model
variables.The concept of entropy of discrete probability distribution
istaken as the starting point in the study. Additionaly, processdata
entropy is studied. The change in entropy is shown whenprocess data are
semantically estimated. The role of importanceparameter is presented.
Furthermore, an example of a steamgenerator unit model for exact evaluation
of the importanceparameter , is given.

Summary: Recursions are often used programming technique. Many
typicalproblems can be efficiently solved on this way. However, thereare
some limitations regarding memory and time consumptions.Several recursive
algorithms have been tested, ranging fromsimplest to more complicated,
regarding these criteria. Otainedresults point tp possibilities of
classifying these algorithmsinto two groups depending on its efficiency.
Algorithms, whichcalculating time is exponentially increasing with the
number ofcases are classified as inefficient, while the others fulfill
theefficiency demands.

Summary: Random variables for o chosen density function can be
generated using inverse of a distribution function. Analytically this could
be done only for some density functions which distribution function and its
inverse can be expressed analytically. In general case a numeric method can
be used obtaining the distribution function using a numeric integration.
Presenting this function in a tabular form, the inverse of it is found
searching the table values. The density function can be given either
analytically or in tabular form. Some examples of both methods are
presented. Statistical tests were used to confirm good fitting of obtained
data.

Summary: In this paper the mathematical model of trasmission line in
ATP-EMTP program is presented. The characteristic impedance and the
propagation function of the transmission line are simulated. The simulation
is performed using J. Marti and Line constants subroutine. Both the
characteristic impedance and the propagation function are approximated with
rational functions in the whole frequency range. As an example these two
values are simulated for the 400 kV transmission line in Croatia. This
example shows that a model of the transmission line in the whole frequency
range from 0.01 Hz to 100 kHz is easily simulated in the ATP-EMTP program.

are available from many sources. Faculty of Electrical Engineering in
Osijek decided to cooperate with one company which is the world leader in
that field. Electrical System Analysis Inc. from Oregon, USA is the
company which created very powerful, accurant and user friendly software
package for power flow and short circuit analysis of electric power
systems.This software found its place in the educational process at the
Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Osijek in the courses ,such as:
Electrical Networks, Electric Power Systems Analysis, Production
Transmission and Distribution of Electrical Energy. "EasyPower" software
package is very easy to use, efficient and very fast electric power system
software. "EasyPower"which includes one-line diagram, short circuit, power
flow and motor starting analysis uses the windows interface.
