Summary: This paper deals with passengers transit from are
railwaytransport system to local transportation facilities. A diagram ofthe
computer program simulating the work of both local andlong-distance
transportation facilities is presented in thispaper. A general computed
example has been represented by meansof graphs, which can be used in
practice to achive optimumcoordination between railway and road
transportation system.

Summary: The task of finding out an ecologically more suitable
planning ordesigning alternative to a road transportation route has been
setin this paper. The characteristics of the available methods andthe
possibilities of applying them for this purpose have beendiscussed. In view
of that a model has been set for gettingpartial benefits or levels of
fulfilling the set criteria, usingthe actual data about the terrain as well
as the normative orsuggested values. Upon synthesization of the results,
which isperforce accompanied by a somewhat subjective evaluation the aimof
the paper is achieved: values of alternatives that can becompared from the
ecological point of view.
