Summary: On the base of experimental research of horizontal movement
geometry of vehicles, model of simulation movement of varies types of
vehicles were developed and tested. Simulation was made on the computer by
computer program Autoturn. Analyses of movement geometry of varies types of
vehicles were performed and all influential parameters such as curve
radius, chlotoid parameters and deflection angels were varied. Results of
researches are principals for serpentine designing according to the
principals of movement geometry.

Summary: Important conditions for correct designing and performing
of base rule for safe traffic are: fundamental knowledge of all terms that
represent term SPEED and which we can find in validity technical
regulations, methods of determination their value and application in design
of road elements.
Design principles of varies countries offer different types for solve this
problems. In these paper's solutions from Ours, German, Austrian and Swiss
design principles were analysed and represented.
On basis of critical analyses' proposals of names, meanings, methods of
determining and methods of using of term SPEED were offered. SPEED is one
of the most important parameter for road designing. From this reason,
author wants to give initiatives for scientific discussions in the course
of bringing of new Croatian's principles of road designing for road out of
city.

Summary: In the project was included research on serpentine
designing according to the principles of movement geometry. All influential
parameters such as: vehicle type, curve radius, clothoid parameters and
deflection angles varied. Relevant vehicles were determined by statistic
analyses performed according to year catalogues of European car
manufacturers observing a sixteen year period. For designing path of
vehicle movement was used the computer program AUTOTURN which is an
application program inside the AUTOCAD. According the path of vehicle
movement was determined the serpentine pavement edge. The same are
substituted by systematized and presented in the project. The road curves
are analytically defined.

vehicles(passenger car, single unit truck, standard bus) and vehicletrains
