    Summary: Investigation works undertaken in order to assess the condition of the structure before and after the completed renewal are presented. Particular attention was given to the determination of the dynamic parameters of the structure when subjected to dynamic excitation by real traffic and wind loading. Investigations preceding the renewal served as the basis for the renewal design preparation. Besides the above investigations, investigations to partial loading were also carried out.

    Summary: Method of determining effect of local plasticity on seizmic loading of lower coupled shear walls with symmetrically row of openings is presented. This method is based on collapse mechanism with plastic hingers at boath ends of the coupling beams along the whole height of the wall and elastic behaviour of colums. Adventage of this method is an simplicity of mathematics model and possibility of general solution of thewalls with more row of openings.

    Summary: Design factors of dynamically loaded industrial facilites are analysed and the design and repair of their foundations presented. Theoretical and experimental analysis enabled comprehensive and optimal solving of such engineering tasks, which is shown on an example of a timber debarking mill. The executed repair increased the safety of the structure against the action of long-term loading and ewtended the service life of foundations and the whole plantitself.

    Summary: The author shows that the method of complex variable may be used to reduce plane problems in quasi-static thermoelasticity to plane problems of the isothermal theory of elasticity, i. e. to the determination of two complex potential. Numerical realization of this procedure is illustrated by the example of a concrete support strip in the state of plane strain. For the present load and stationary temperature range, complex potentias are determined on the basis of boundary conditions using the least-squares method. The complex potentials are then to displacement and stress field.

    Summary: In prefabricated reinforcement structures a set of different prefabricated items are joined into a solid construction. The stability and the bearing capacity of those structures should be investigated theoretically and by experimentations. Here is shown a theoretical and experimental analysis of a corner joint, joining the prefabricated RC column and the prestressed RC roof beam of a two way sloped, one by 30,0 m span hall.

    Summary: The new model of concrete code proscribes a unified ratio for compressive strength on standardised cylinder and cube specimens. Experimental investigations on Bekhme site (Iraq) obtained a conversion coefficient which significiantly differed from the proposed one. In order to explane such results we made certain numerical model investigations of toughness ratio of aggregate and matrix respectively.

    Summary: There are definitive adventages in using RC floor flat slabs supported by columns in the typical floor design of multystorey RC buildings. In this work is shown the analysis of the stress distribution in the joints between the plate and columns entity with special consideration to the shearing stresses depending of the column capitel's form. The analysis was done by using FE method by use of the ICES STRUDL2 program. The 3D elements as well as the bending element have been used.

    Summary: In this paper is shown that the plane problem of the thermoelasticity can be reduced to the plane problem of the isothermic theory of elasticity by means of the complex variable methods. In this case the problem is reduced to determination of two holomorphic functions of a complex variable.     Summary: In this article problems of design, calculation and modeling of underground structure constructed in the center of Zagreb have been shown. This structure has three underground stories above which is pedestrian square, green area and road. Because of plane area of the structure (121 x 87 m) the process of a shrinkage, creep and temperature have bad and high influence on design and construction. Problems of permanent and temporary dilatation, protection of the excavation and neighboring building have been pointed out.

    Summary: The fundamentals of general approach to construction dynamic parameters as indicators of real construction behavior, are investigated.     Summary: It is frequently necessary to establish subsequently the quality of cast concrete in RC structures. Compressive strength of cast concrete is determined by testing concrete cylindres extracted from the structure. The paper considers the influence of reinforcement contained in the cylinder wich has been extracted from structure on the compressive strength of the cylinder. The problem was theoreticcaly being solved applying the FE method and experimentally on extracted samples.

    Title: Establishing the Whole Stresses in Structures Using Acoustic Method

    Summary: The whole stresses in the structure consists of the permanent and variable part of the stresses. The permanent stress could be established by using samples from the structure, by releasing local stresses or by non-destructive testing. Such a non-destructive method is the acoustic method based on the low of ultrasound wave spreading in solid bodies. Here is shown the establishing of principal stresses in structures on the basis of longitudinal and transversal ultrasound wave speed measurements.

    Title: The Quality Control of Concrete Pavement Strucrures

    Summary: The deterioration of the concrete pavement structure starts during the exploitation under the traffic loads and the meteorological conditions. The upper layer starts to crack and those are visible and invisible cracks. The nondestructive testing results are shown, as well as the obtained results on determination of the homogeneity and strenght, defects and cracks in concrete, as well as the thickness of the degraded surface layers in a two layered structure.

    Title: Modelling of the Framed Structures With Infill

    Summary: The experimental end theoretical examination of the thre story frame-infill systems under horizontal load conditions is considered. The frame structure have nine fields. The middle field is without infill and the remaining eight are filled with plaster infill. Stress and strain fields are determoned both, in the case of cracked and uncracked connection between the frame and the infilled systems. Using results of the analysis, simple static model is proposed. Due to simplicity, this model can be used in every day engineering practice.
