  1. Type of paper: Summary in proceedings

Title: The stability of simple and complex reaction time

    Authors:
    Ivanec, Dragutin
    Kolesarić, Vladimir (21736)
    Language: engleski
    Place: Trst, Italija
    Year: 1991
    Pages: from 0 to 0
Meeting: 2nd Alpe Adria Symposium on Psychology
    Held: from 05/30/91 to 06/01/91
Summary: The validity of reaction time as a criterion variable in psychology has been examined. The study included the recording of simple and complex reaction time to light stimuli of two levels of intensity. There were four experimental situations (simple RT - weak and strong stimuli; complex RT - weak and strong stimuli). The results disclosed the following. (1) The results of an individual subject may vary signigicantly in the course of repeated measurements, but there were no marked differences on the group level.
Keywords: simple reaction time, complex reaction time, validity of measurement

  2. Type of paper: Summary in proceedings

Title: Is there any impact fo stimuli context on reaction time reagrdin to stimulation level of intensity

    Authors:
    Ivanec, Dragutin
    Kolesarić, Vladimir (21736)
Proceedings title: "Dani Ramira Bujasa" Prva godišnja konferencija hrvatskih psihologa
    Language: hrvatski
    Place: Zagreb
    Year: 1993
    Pages: from 13 to 13
Meeting: "Dani Ramira Bujasa" Prva godišnja konferencija Hrvatskih psihologa
    Held: from 04/15/93 to 04/17/93
Summary: The aim of this study was to examine the impact of stimuli context on simple reaction time with stimuli in medium intensity range. The experiment was carried out such that reaction time to a particular stimulus could be observed in relation to the specific stimulus context. Results show that there was no clear impact of stimuli context on reaction time. This suggested that using only medium rang of stimulus intensities could not induce the impact of stimuli context.
Keywords: reaction time, stimuli context, stimulus intensity

  3. Type of paper: Summary in proceedings

Title: The importance of stimulus intensity in determination of simple raction time

    Authors:
    Ivanec, Dragutin
    Kolesarić, Vladimir (21736)
Proceedings title: III Alps - Adria Symposium of Psychology
    Language: engleski
    Place: Ljubljana, Slovenija
    Year: 1993
    Pages: from 22 to 23
Meeting: III Alps - Adria symposium of Psychology
    Held: from 06/02/93 to 06/05/93
Summary: The aim of this study was to examine the impact of slight changes in stimuli context over the relationship between the stimulus intensity and the reaction time. The results indicate that there is no absolute link between the reaction time and stimulus intensity. When using more than one stimulus in a series, one should bear in mind that even small changes in the stimulus intensity selection can lead to significant changes in reaction time.
Keywords: simple reaction time, stimulus intensity, stimuli context

  4. Type of paper: Ph.D.

Title: Cerebral asymmetry investigation by means of divided visual field technique
Faculty: Filozofski fakultet Sveučiliše u Zagrebu
    Date of defense: 07/14/93
    Language: hrvatski
    Number of pages: 238
Summary: The aim of the investigation was to explore the effects of some characteristics of verbal material and its presentation on a lateral effect in a lexical decision task. Four multivariate experiments were carried out. Results show that the direction and magnitude of the lateral effect an be changed by varying the stimulus characteristics and presentation. The implication is that it is not acceptable to interpret all the differences between left and right visual fields as a result of hemispheric specialization.
Keywords: laterality/cerebral, asymmetry/lateral asymmetry, divided visual field technique, lexical decision, verbal material, frequency, imageability

  5. Type of paper: M.A.

Title: The impact of stimuli context on simple reaction time
Faculty: Filozofski fakultet Sveučiliše u Zagrebu
    Date of defense: 01/11/94
    Language: hrvatski
    Number of pages: 77
Summary: The aim of investigation was to examine mechanisms of the impact of stimuli context on simple reaction time. For the purpose of that impact different stimuli structure on reaction time were examined. Interaction effect of stimuli intensity and preparatory interval as possible measure of the impact of stimuli context on reaction time was also examined. The results indicate that impact of stimuli context has defined with cognitive elements of information processing regarding to subjects' relation to stimulus situation.
Keywords: simple reaction time, stimuli context, stimulus intensity, information processing, decision criteria, preparatory interval
