Summary: In Croatia, the species Datura inoxia is known in a small
numberof localities, but the latest investigations of its distributionshows
great adaptability of this species to the variousconditions of soil and
climate. D. inoxia is found in sixlocalities on Murter and in the Požega
valley, where it comes asan ornamental plant - in Kuzmica, Češljakovci and
Kaptol fromVeli Lošinj, in Vetovo and Jakšić from Hvar, in the flower -
potsat Zvečevo factory, from Opatija, and in the flower-pots at St.Leopold
Mandić church.

Summary: As far as the richness of the Recent Yugoslav flora is
corcerned,the total number of taxons is at the present time still
unknown.According to the data reported by the "Flora Europaea", thenumber
of species would be approximately 4983, compared to ourestimation, which

theBiokovo mountain has a very well developed subalpinos belt ofbeech

Summary: The general distribution of Lamium orvala L. is discussed
and aclassification of the Illyrian phytogeographical element isproposed.

Summary: In this paper the results of morphometric analysis of a
commonoak leaf (Q. robur) on a short prolific shoot are given.
Thecorrelation between the leaf blade length and width was found tobe very
strong as indicated from the calculated correlationcoefficient r the value
of which ranges from 0,856 to 0,925,depending upon the population.

Summary: The pasture community known under the name
of"Festuco-Koelerietum splendentis" in the form such as describedand
defined by Horvatić (1963), according to the valid rulesof the syntaxonomic
code is neither validly described nor are itscharacteristic species

Summary: On the basis of the researches made so far on the surface

numberof researchers of Hvar's flora during the 150 year period and onthe
