Summary: Facies correlation of the Upper Triassic and Jurassic throughout the Karst Dinarids enebles registration of complex, both vertical and lateral, relations within shallow-water, predominantly carbonate deposists, and reconstruction of paleoenvironments, paleoecology, detail biostratigraphy and sequence stratigraphy during early stages of the Mesozoic Adriatic Carbonate Platform in Croatia, neighbouring countries and in the Mediterranean realm.
