    Summary: Test results for three-phase squirrel-cage motors of foreignproducers are given. Catalogued data are compared with testresults. Comparison shows that all testing values are in therange of permissible deviations according to IEC 34-1/83. Aftertesting all motors were disassemblied andconstructional-technological design werw tested and proved thatthey satisfy technical description.

    Summary: Program for computation of magnetic and streamlined noise iscarried out. Outline of input and output data, instruction forexecution are given. Calculation and testings of noise level fora few totally enclosed squirrel-cage induction motors of varioussizes and polarities are carried out. Comparison of test andcalculated values shows decreasing the noise level for 10 up 15dBA at motors of the new series in comparison with the old one.

    Summary: The results of testing three-phase squirrel-cage motor prototypesfor: three-phase totally enclosed squirrel-cage motors size 225and 280, in 2,4,6 and 8 poles design and drip proofsquirrel-cage motor size 250 in 4 pole design are given.Comparison of test results and the result of computation arecarried out. Testing of 4-pole motor size 225 fed from converteris carried out. Test results show that squirrel-cage motors couldrun fed from adequate converter by 10% decreased power at ratedfrequency and increased noise level up to 10 dBA.

    Summary: Techical requirements (standards, mechanical design, electrical characteristics etc.) and technical data (parameters for calculation, power, efficiency, power factor, current, starting parameters, moment inertia, mass etc.) for motors of zero series are given. All included is refer to the new series of three-phase squirrel-cage low voltage induction motors in 2,4,6 and 8-pole design. Totally enclosed with shaft-heights 200 to 355mm in power range from 11 to 355 kW and drip-proof motors with shaft-heights 180 to 315mm in power range from 11 to 450 kW are included. Rated voltage af all motors is proposed to be 400V+10%-10%.
