Summary: Developmental research is caried out. Improved computer
programfor more precisely electromagnetic, heat-ventilating
calculation, calculation of noise are created. Testing of
three-phazeinduction motors is advanced by using of computer. Research
anddevelopment of insulation system in respect to supply andecological
requirements is carried out. Study of tecnicalcharacteristics and test
results of motor samples of foreignmanufacturers is carried out and
proposal for technicalrequirements for the new series of three-phase
squirrel-cage andslipring induction motors is given.Prototypes of
squirrel-cageinduction motors for three shaft-heights with
differentpolarities and degrees of protection are manufactured, tested
andlaboratory verification is carried out.
The conception of modern, export competitive, series ofthree-phase
squirrel-cage induction motors with the new powerrange from 11 to 450 kW is
defined on the base of the abovementioned developmental research. The
series contain 7standardized shaft-heights according to IEC regulations.
The series is intended for the new voltage and tolerances ofdistribution
system, conformed to power supply conditions andfrequency converters by
controlled drives. The series hasimproved economic parameters and
ecological properties.
Research goals: For saving the competitive position in production
and sale on the world market in regard to the new supply voltage 230/400V
+10% -10%, properties and prices are the main purpose of research.
Increased demands of the world market on technical, economic, energetic,
ecological features and price of electric-motor require investigations of
definite physical phenomena, study of using, saving tehnologies,
manufacturing testing of prototypes and various analyzes. For realisation
of those aims the conception of series of tree-phase squirrel-cage
induction motors must be radically changed. The main contribution of
research and development is adoption of domestic export competitive
production of low-voltage squirrel-cage induction motors. The new series
contains drip proof motors with shaft height 180-315 mm, power range from
11 to 450 kW and totally enclosed motors 200-355 mm shaft heights, power
range 15 to 315 kW. Motors will be suitable for controlled drives and
accommodate to inverter feeds conditions (saving energy). Motors will have
improve economic parameters. They will be ecological favorable because of
lower noise level and vibrations, as well as removing undesirable
insulation materials. The main aim and expected contibution of research is
realised by essential improvements of quality in design, construction,
manufacturing and testing of induction motors for world market. Other information about the project.
