Summary: Results of research and development of design and production of vital parts of diesel engines are presented. Spetial enphasis is done on development of torsional vibration dampers, and resilient mountings.

Research goals: To develop components of diesel engines which are not directly connected with licence and can be sold on world markets (torsional vibration dampers, resilient mountings). To develop computer programms for torsional and flectural vibration calculations for complex propulsion systems as well as for diesel generating sets for production of electricity.
