    Summary: The paper deals with mathematical modelling of biped gait in the sagital plane, neglecting the motion in the frontal plane. A multi-link system consisting from trunk and two legs is considered. The Lagrangian dynamics for 5-link 2-D biped system is calculated and the system motion equation are presented. The computer simulation is performed for different walking speeds. Mathematical model for fast and slow walking is suggested.

    Summary: An algorithm for computation coordinates of hip, knee and ankle of moving subjects is described here. It has been designed in order to analyse the quality of suggested mathematical model of human locomotion, and to make final routine analysis in biomecanical laboratories. Algorithm for marker recognition is made. Half frame resolution, shuttering and spatial low-pass filtering are used to sharpen marker. Two ways to find starting position of marker are possible: automatic search and manual search. The main feature of the system are: the use of standard laboratory equipment and the analysis of body movement in various enviroments.

    Summary: The paper deals with mathematical modelling and simulation of human locomotion. The physical model with five degrees of movement in sagital plane is suggested. Using Euler-Lagrange law the system of differential equations defining movement is built. The muscle forces are considered as active forces. The ground reaction is also included in the model. The analysis of sensitivity of the dinamic action of the whole model on parametars originated by centrifugal forces is done. Sensitivity shows no influence of these elements at the normal walking speeds. Simplification of the model is done and mathematical model is simulated on the PC.

    Summary: In this paper the quantitative analysis of mathematical model is done. The analysis is done by inverse kinematic approach. As nominal input data the angles of locomotion joints are taken. They are known from literature. The computer simulation is done for a few walking speeds. The interesting lows are found for "speed" and "slow" model of locomotion.

    Summary: The modificate root locus is a new approach to cintrol systems analysis and synthesis described as an eigenvalues module and argument function of static gain. Control system analysis and synthesis approach based on root locus method is simplified by both module and argument diagram. The principles of finding the modificate root locus diagram by PC are illustrated on typical examples. At the end, the procedure of synthesis based on known proportional derivation compenzator parameters are done by modificate root locus diagram. The modificate root locus method is new and future advantages of described method are expected.

    Summary: This work refers to the classic ways of gaining phase portrets. The matematical pendulum is used asan example. the moving of mathematical pendulum from different begining condition is simulated on the digital computer using program package VISSIM. The basic elements of the phase plane analysis, the overview of all phase diagrams and simulation scheme in VISSIM are presentated on a personal computer using the program language VISUAL BASIC 3.0.
