Summary: This work presents the notions and characteristics of the
repeatability r and reproducibility R of measurement with a critical view,
on the basis of international standard ISO 5725-1986 (E). The meaning and
application of the criteria of the repeatability and reproducibility of
measurement in comparison measurements are elaborated. In geodesic
measurements these precision criteria have not been applied so fare,
although it is certain that there are interesting possibilities of their
application.

Summary: The paper describes an example of dynamic calibration of
inductive transducer with linear variable differential transformar (LVDT)
for displacement measurement. According to the specific aim of transducer,
the calibration of harmonic vibrations of the given frequency of 50 Hz has
been performed. For the transducer calibration pšrocedure, the principle of
immediate displacement measurement (vibration amplitude) has been
introduced by the means of the shadow picture (magnification 20x) which can
be seen at the projection desk of the Profilprojector 600, produced by
"C.Zeiss". The given measurement data are processed by usual statistical
methods, and the calibration results is expressed in transducer's
sensibility. Finally, possibilities, impact and eventual improvements of
the method are discussed.

Summary: In procedure of calibration the instruments for the
measurement of surface roughness by the profile method examining the radius
and angle of the radius and angle of the stylus is necessary. The optical
method with microskope is usually used. These methods proved to be very
unfitting and unreliable. Because of this in the Laboratory for precise
length measurements in Zagreb, is the method with razor blade adapted. In
this paper are given the investigation results and their possibilities of
using this method for examination of the radius and angle of the stylus by
the instruments for the measurement of surface roughness wich is of highest
accuracy.
