Summary: Development of Marine Propulsion engines operated on various kinds of fuels with properties of poor ignition and combustion. Utilisation of exhaust gas energy in Power gas turbine increases thermal efficiency increasing power output. Development of compact and cheap gear unit for power transfer from gas turbine to Diesel engine crankshaft.

Research goals: The purpose of proposed research is to achive optimum design of Marine propulsion engine with possibility to run on different fuels and determination of optimum thermal and mechanical link between Diesel engine and Power gas turbine. Additional purpose of this research should result in one PhD work.
