Summary: The research points to the optimum solutions of the ship
form and propulsion-control system on river vessels: pushers, oil
carriers, container carriers, heavy load carriers. The obtained solutions
have resulted from the model investigations for the exploitation
conditions on the Vukovar-Sisak-Zagreb waterway. Due to its hydrodynamic
characteristics this waterway is classed among more difficult (special)
navigable routes.
