    Summary: The procedure of anticipating failure due to fatigue in case of random stress,i.e. the narow-band stationary Gaussian random proces,is presented in the paper.It is demonstrated that this process is characterized by the Rayleigh distribution of extreme values.The modified Palmgren-Miner damage accumulation hypothesisis used to anticipate the amplitude variability of life span of an element.The simplicity of approximation method is illustrated by a numerical example and the corresponding results are treated graphically.

    Summary: The papers are concerned with the description of recent developments in software engineering like the use of problem-oriented language, data base management, artificial intelligence. That all lead to the development of an efficient finite element software system that can give more flexibility and facility to the user.
