Summary: Isothermal adsorption of variously constituted organic dyestuffsfrom water solutions on natural adsorbents with high silicon (IV)oxide component was studied. Isothermal adsorption, used in thetextile industry, was carried out at 25 C. Three types ofdyestuffs were used: substantive (direct) Solarrot B, basicBasacrylrot GL and metal complex Lanasynreinrot 2BL. Followingadsorbents were used: kaoline and two aluminium silicate naturalmixures with 34,52% SiO2, that is 31,25% SiO2. The dyestuffquantity in the filtrate was spectrophotometrically determined,by measuring pH and by determination of light radiationreflectance on DATACOLOR. All results were obtained by means ofcomputer. The investigation of dyestuffs showed, that naturalaluminium silicates with increased part of amorphous siliconoxide are the most convenient adsorbents, while kaoline did notshow a significant adsorptivity of these dyestuffs.

Summary: In this work the systems were used, which do not require aspecial preparatory treatment in the process of adsorption oforganic dyestuffs from water solutions. Three different types oforganic dyestuffs were investigated: basic Basacrylrot GL, metalcomplex Lanasynreinrot 2BL and direct (substantive) dyestuffSolarrot B. As adsorbers, kaoline and two aluminium silicatenaturel mixtures with high content of amorphous silica were used. The adsorption was carried out isothermally at the temperature of60 C. The results were followed by spectrophotometry, bymeasuring pH of the filtrate and by determination of lightradiation reflectance on DATACOLOR. All results were obtained bymeans of computer. The investigations showed that the temperatureof 60 C is suitable for the adsorption of organic dyestuffs onnatural aluminium silicates (Which is higher than that of 25 C),so waste water clarifying by using adsorption in the textiledying plants can be recommended.

Summary: As the use of water in the textile industry is great, thequantities of effluents are huge too. The surface-aactive agentspollute the textile effluents considerable. In higherconcentracions they can endanger flora and fauna of watersystems, exerting influence for instance on the decrease ofdyestuffs flocculation and retard the deposit of suspendedparticles by diminishing the tension of water surface, as well asby their dispersing action. The products of their decompositioncan be often found in effluents, which can cause environmentalpollution. For this reason the parametars for analytical evaluation ofeffluents and their composition must be dealt with. The toxity of surface-active agents, as well as lethal effect for fisg andlower organisms in water systems must be determined. Particularregard is devoted to the composition of effluents from theplants.

Summary: The textile waste waters have often a significant amount of tensides, which can be used in textile fabrics for washing, emulgation, dispergation, solubilization, egalization, weting and softening. In a high concentration they can imperil flora and fauna of water systems. They decrease dyestuff floculation, retard the setling down of suspended substances by decreasing of water surface tension and they have a dispergated influence in water. In waste waters there are often their products of degradation, which have also a bad influence on the environment. The tenside toxicity and a lethal effect must be determined for fishes and other low organisms of water systems. The behaviour of tensides in contact with clays and carbon in water solution is significant because of the possibility: of their removal, investigations of the influence on the environment(soil) and ore flotation. We have investigated the physical-chemical behaviour of water solutions of anionactive and unionic tensides in a process of adsorption on kaoline, a natural mixture of aluminosilicates and an amorphous silica (39 % SiO2), activated carbon and a mixture of activated carbon and kaoline (1:1).

Summary: Coulored waste waters from dyeing plants could endanger flora and fauna in natural recipients. Different methods could be used for dyestuffs removal from textile finishing waste waters, but one ofmost used is adsorption method. Isothermal adsorption of textiles organic dyestuffs from water solutions at 25 C was investigated on natural aluminosilicates.Three types of dyestuffs: substantive, basic and metal complex was investigated. Kaoline and two natural mixtures of aluminosilicates with high content of silica were used. Summary: Waste waters from textile dyeing processes often have high temperature, so they can imperil flora and fauna in waterstreams. The coloured waste water from dyeing machines could be immediately purificated and reused in textile processes, so the matter and energy could be economized. The influence of high temperature on the adsorption of textile organic dyestuffs from water solutions on natural aluminosilicates was investigated. The results were followed by spectrophotometry and by determination of light radiation reflectance on DATACOLOR. All results were obtained by means of computer. The investigations showed that the high temperature is suitable for the adsorption of dyestuffs on aluminosilicates.

Summary: Repubic of Croatia is mostly oriented on textile industry. Therefore it is understandible that water consumption, quantity and quality of waste waters are followed in order to decrease their bad influence on environment. In this case scientific attainments have a high role in domestic and world level, which can be aplicated on different processes. Rationalization and optimalization of processes are speciffically used in textile industry today. Economical machines, optimum chemical and physical-chemical systems are being used also. New synthetic textile materials are produced with improved properties, the energy is saved by exchange of heat. The processes and substances dangerous to environment are being expeled from usage. Waste waters before dropping into the recipient are being subjected to modern ways of treatments, which do not demand a large expense, big spaces and a lot of time. Rationalization of water spending are reached by recycling of regenerated water into the technological process.
