Summary: Waste waters of textile industry have often an amount
oftensides, dyestuffs, heavy metals (Fe,Co,Cr,Cu,Zn), which remainafter
textile finishing processes. In this project different adsorbents were used
for elimination ofimpurities from waste waters of textile industry.
Natural aluminosilicates with a high amount of amorphous silica, kaoline,
zeolite, activated carbon in a process of adsorption andione exchange of
heavy metals, dyestuffs and tensides from watersolutions were
investigated. The influence of adsorbent weight and granulation,
concentrationof solutions, pH values and temperature were investigated.
The results were followed by physical-chemical methods:spectrophotometry,
electrical conductivity, surface tension andlight radiation reflectance
determination (DATACOLOR), and bymeans of computer calculation.
Keywords: Waste waters of textile industry, adsorption and ione exchange, aluminosilicates, dyestuffs, tensides, heavy metals
Research goals: Discovery and application of the systems and methods
which in ashort time could remove different inorganic and
organicimpurities from textile industry waste waters. Decreasing of water
impurities and using regenerated water intextile finishing processes.
Discovery of optimum conditions for elimination of impuritiesfrom textile
industry waste waters. Using domestic natural and synthetic substances for
waste watertreatment and savings of matter and energy. Other information about the project.
