Summary: The study of degradation process as the prerequisite to
obtain the stability of polymeric materials as well as its durability in
application. Discovering of quantitative correlation and submolecular
structure of polymers, copolymers, polymeric materials and blends.
Modification of polymers in view of asked stability in processing
production, manufacture and application. The influence of types and
quantities of selected modificators on the stability, mechanical,
reological and thermical properties and specially on synergistic activity.
The mechanism of process of degradation and stabilization on some selected
polymeric materials and modificators. Interactions of
modificators/additives with well defined polymers, composites, polymeric
solutions, dispersions and coatings. The investigation of possible
inductive degradation of polymers.
Research goals: The aim of investigation is the production of new
polymeric materials with responding improvement of stabilization properties
as well as good application properties, thermal, mechanical, rheological
and manufacture properties. It will be contained the correlation of
mentioned properties and exchange of structure during the time of ageing
polymeric material. It will be done the study of mechanism for chemical and
