Title: MISCIBILITY OF POLY(VINYL CHLORIDE) WITH
TERPOLY(alfa-METHYLSTYRENE-ACRYLONITRILE-METHYL METHAKRILATE)
- Authors:

Journal: POLIMERI
ISSN: -
Volume: 231
Year: 1994
Pages: from 215 to 223
Number of references: 16
Language: engleski
Summary: The miscibility of poly(vinyl
chloride)/terpoly(alfa-methylstyrene-acrylonitrile-methylmethacrylate)
(PVC/MS-AN-MMA) blend was investigated by differential scanning
calorimetry. The parameters of thermal transitions and phase behaviour of
the blend were determined. The miscibility of the blend with 0-40 and with
more than 80 mass% of MS-AN-MMA was found. The depedence of glass
transition temperature on the composition was well described by the
Couchman, Gordon-Taylor and Fox equationa.

Title: KINETICS OF ISOTHERMAL THERMOGRAVIMETRICAL DEGRADATION OF
PVC/ABS BLENDS
- Authors:
- Kovačić, Tonka (22752)
- Klarić, Ivka (21115)
- Roje, Urban (41413)
- Kovačić, Tonka (22752)
Journal: Journal of Thermal Analysis
ISSN: 0022-5215
Number of references: 8
Language: engleski
Summary: The PVC/ABS blends were degradated by means of isothermal
thermogravimetry at temperatures of 210-240 C in nitrogen. Applying the
stationary point method apperent activation energy, preexponential factor
and compensation parameter were calculated. Increasing the fraction of ABS
in the blend up to 50% the kinetics of the process is changed.

Title: EFFECT OF HOMOGENEITY ON THE THERMAL DEGRADATION OF
POLY(VINIYL
CHLORIDE)/POLY(alfa-METHYLSTYRENE-ACRYLONITRILE-METHYLMETACRYLATE) BLENDS

Journal: Polymer Degradation and Stability
ISSN: 0141-3910
Number of references: 8
Language: engleski
Summary: The thermal degradation of homogenous and heterogenous
PVC/MS-AN-MMA blends were investigated by means of dynamic
thermogravimetry. The effect of degradation products of one polymer on the
degradation process in the other polymer in the blend was stabilished. This
effect is due to the fact that the phase diagram of PVC/MS-AN-MMA blend
shows an upper critical solution temperatures. This means that all of the
blend system are miscible at tempertures above the critical solution
temperature.
