Summary: Testing biochemical and microbiological data of the upper small intestine in children with malabsorption syndrome and in children with abdominal colic in whom intubation of the upper gastrointestinal tract has been medically indicated. Examining parts of biological elements in blood is done paralelly. Pathohistological analysis of the small intestinal mucosa in the patients with malabsorption is practiced.
