Summary: Adhesive otitis media is chronical stage of middle ear,
which can be caused by chronical otitis media. Other causes can be trauma,
acute otitis media or secretory otitis media. For this process we can say
that is selfhealing, but functionaly this is death of transmisional
apparatus in middle ear. Until today, we do not know, way in some patients,
after operation, we have recidive of adhesive otitis media very fast, and
in other we have not. This research must show incidence of adhesive otitis
media, level of deafness, and possible way of treatment.
Research goals: This research must take an answer on most important
question here, how to take back hearing to a deaf person. Analysing of
connective tissue which have been produced in middle ear, we should see
incidence of different type of connective tissue. This incidence we should,
after that, compare with number of recidive, respectively with number
successfuly rehabilitated patients. We expecting corelation between type of
connective tissue and unsuccesful surgery. This make possible adequate
select of surgery technique, which mean, advancement and accelerate of
hearing rehabilitation of hendicap person. Other information about the project.
