Summary: The aim of the project is to develop health communication system, continuous education and management assisted by video and computer technology. Project objectives are: (a) promotion of quality and efficiency of work in health units by improving communication and stimulating continuous education, (b) work coordination and improvement of management mechanism in realization of health policies, (c) information and education of population in health prevention and health promotion as well as organization of health care system, (d) survey and research in decision-making policies and expert systems, and (e) dissemination of results of scientific and other research work within health and in other sectors in the country and abroad. The objectives will be achieved through collaboration between the Educational Multimedia Centre (EMC), located at the A.Štampar School of Public Health, Medical School University of Zagreb. Results of the project will influence the introduction and application of new communication technology in health care and will open new opportunities for research on decision-making.
