Summary: Snoring is an inevitable symptom of the obstructive sleep
apnea syndrome which induces cardiorespiratory system disorders. The
disorder can become very severe so as to seriously affect health.The cause
of snoring and sleep apnea syndrome is the obstruction of the upper
airways. The study included children, adult patients and experiments on
animals.

Research goals: The goal of this study is to examine thouroughly
pathophysiological changes induced by snoring and obstructive sleep apnea
syndrome. On the basis of the results obtained by this study, we can
indicate conservative or clinical treatment of the syndrome.
