Summary: In patients with solid malignant tumors (breast cancer, urogenital tumors, children solid tumors) and hemoblastosis, the influence of immunological factors on tumor development and its spreading were investigated. In this study, the number and reactivity of the immunocompetent cells (T and B lymphocytes, NK cells, phagocytic cells) serum concentration of interferon as well as estradiol, testosteron and cortisol level in hormonaly dependent tumors were determined. The achieved results delineate clinical relevance of above immunological parameters as an adjunctive aid to diagnosis and prognosis in cancer patients.

Research goals: The aim of this study is to investigate the role of immunological factors in development and spreading of malignant tumors and to assess the impact of immunological parameters in diagnosis, prognosis and therapeutic strategy of these diseases.
