Summary: At the Department of ORL Šalata in the period of 1993 to 1996 we examine 50 nasal polyps. The cases will be analyse regarding allergy relapse and age. The analysis will be carried out by histology and histochemistry (PAS, ALCIAN, ORCEIN) for the following elements: epithelium, basement membrane, strome, infiltration by cells.

Keywords: polyp, respiratory mucosa, allergy, infection.

Research goals: The aim of our study is how nasal polyp formed. First is nasal polyp depend of alergy or infection or their combination. Are predilection locations responsible for polyps became and histologically changes in polyps and nasal mucosa.
