Summary: The genocentre of Plavac mali is not of a great extent and
ischaracterized by specific ecological factors (climate, soil, etc.), which
is an important characteristic of a smallgenocentres. The results of the
attempts to distribute Plavacmali out of the areas of its specific growing
positions were notsatisfactory, which is a further evidence of its
peculiarity andattachment to its original area.
The population of Plavac mali is out of its natural equilibriumand types
occur in the population as the results of budmutations, selective effects
of the specific areas and man. Man,climate, soil and other ecological
factors made selection of individual types with defined ecological and
commercialproperties.
The population of Plavac mali should be observed as a blend ofdifferent
types: Plavac mali - native, Plavac mali - big andPlavac mali - tiny, with
specific technological andagrobiological properties of each of these types.
Present fund of Plavac types (Primitivo and Zinfandel) originatesfrom the
autochthonous population of Dalmatia, Croatia.

Title: Examining of the suitable pollinaters for Cherry cv.
Tugarka in enviroment conditions of Poljica

Summary: The fertilization of cherry cv. Tugarka was investigated
usingpollen of cherry cultivars "Van compart", "Bing spur",
"Lamberdcompact", and pollen of sour cherry "Poljiška maraska". Degree
ofself fertilization and open pollination has been determined aswell. The
research has been carried out during two years, andresults obtained were
analyzed by analysis of variance of thetransformed percentages of
fertilization.
Cherry cv."Tugarka" through two years of investigation did notgive any
single fruit by self fertilization. The number of fruitsobtained by open
pollination was practically neglectable. Theseresults show that cv.
"Tugarka" under natural conditions ofPoljica area can not bring
satisfactory percentage of fruitsetting. The best results of fertilization
of cv. "Tugarka" wereobtained using pollen of "Lamberd compact", while
little lowerfruit setting was obtained using pollen of "Bing spur" and
"Vancompact". Using pollen of "Poljiška maraska"satisfactory togood
results were obtained.

Summary: Olive regeneration on island Cres proceeded from an
aspiration touse already stated advantages of consociation sheep - olive.
Itwas tried out to give this consociation proper expertinstruction to
obtain the best results in olive orchardmanagement and also in the
determination of sheep number per unitof land. Olive tree regeneration had
been carried out by a goodpruning of boughs (thicker branches) on a
adequate sideway branchout of which the new crown was formed. New crown was
formed outof the new growth in two years. That ment the process
ofreegeneration was completed, but balance between the growth andfertility,
and also light inside the crown were kept by regularwinter pruning. The
trunk height in the speciality of the carriedout regeneration. New crown is
formed higher because of the sheepraising in the orchard.
After the regeneration is completed the sheep are driven to freepasture.
Analysing the quantity of pasture and sheep need forfood, the raising
optimum of three sheep per ha was established.

Held: from 09/29/93 to 10/02/93
Summary: The aim of this work is to establish sterile culture of
olivecultivars which are difficult to root by cuttings. Woody andnon-woody
explants, cvs. Oblica and Lastovka, two most spread olive cultivars in
Croatia with different root ability (mediumand easy to root, respectively)
were tested using IM (Rugini,1984) and WPM (Mac Cown and Lloyd, 1980)
supplemented with 0.5mg/l zeatin.
There was no significant difference between Oblica explants on IMand WPM
medium, but non-woody explants were significantly betterthan woody ones on
both media. The same was with Lastovka exceptthat the woody nodes were
better on WPM medium than on IM.

Summary: An attempt was made to establish a large-scale propagation
methodof Dalmatian grapevine cv. Vugava by induction of adventitiousbuds.
They were induced after explant culturing on the basalmedium containing MS
macronutrients, Heller's micronutrients, 2.5microM 6-benzylaminopurine (BA)
and 5.0 microM IBA. Shoots didnot regenerate on the media with other ratios
of BA (5.0, 10.0microM) to IBA (0.1, 0.5 microM) or when cultures were
incubatedin the dark. After two months in culture the regenerated
shootsrooted in three months on the medium eith 0.2 microM IBA anddeveloped
into entire plants.

Title: Efficiency of botryticides on grapevine grey mould
(Botrytis cinerea Pers. ex Pers.) and their influence on fermentation of
must
Faculty: Agronomski fakultet Sveučilište u Zagrebu

Language: hrvatski
Number of pages: 140
Summary: During three years, the efficiency of fungicides
iprodione, vinclozoline, procymidone, dichlofluanid and folpet incontrolling
the grey mould on grapes was tested in the fieldexperiment. Also their
influence on the fermentation of must wasinvestigated. Botryticides were
used four times according tophenological method. At harvest, the percentage
of infection wasevaluated. All fungicides showed good level of protection,
butamong them folpet showed a slightly inferior result. Unclarifiedmusts
were analysed for fungicide residues. The residue contentswere below the
prescribed tolerance. The highest amounts ofresidues in must were found in
the must that contained iprodione. There was no significant difference among
other fungicidecontents in must. Fermentation was strongly influenced by
folpet.Iprodione, vinclozoline and dichlofluanid showed no influence on
fermentation.

Summary: The efficiency of iprodione, vinclozoline,
procymidone, dichlofluanid and folpet in controlling the grey mould was
testedin the field experiment. All fungicides achived good level
ofprotection, but among them procymidone accomplished the bestprotection.
Iprodione, procymidone and vinclozoline and dichlofluanid showed no
influence on fermentation, while, folpet significantly delayed
fermentation.
