Summary: It has been and proved by science and by praktise that the Satsuma Mandarin can successfully and yield very high crops of superior quality on the large part of the coast and the islandes in our country. For that reason this fruit cv. has been spreading more, the watering is possible. The Satsuma profiting the most of our Southern climat, which enables the high consuption and even exportation. Now,only two cv. are being grown. the early Kawano Wase and the late Owari. That is why it was necessary to introduce new cv. of different ripening periods and stocking capacities, in order to prolong the crop, stocking and consumption would last about 6 months.

Research goals: The purpose of the researches is to establish the biological and economic characteristics of these recently imported cultivars and to give scientifical annd expert recommendations for their further spreading and growth. It is expected that the results will be of great importance for development citrus fruits growth in our contry. Suitable cultivars would been the list od the main od recommended citrost fruit cultivars.
