    Summary: Those are successfuly transplanted from Nature to trainingcointainers samples of each trees species: Fraxinus ornus, Piceaglauca "Conica" and Pinus nigra. The age of the collected samples is betwen 18 to 30 years buttheir size is: height 21-28 in and the trunk diametar is betwen1.5-2.25 in. The hursh living conditions from which the samples are collected provides theirdwarf form. It makes a good basis for applaingshort but very effective bonsai training.

    Summary: The possibility of synthesis of the natural beauty of the Mediterranean vegetation wiyh the idea of Japanese miniature trees has been an irresistible challenge previous to this work. The goal of this research is bonsai cultivaion of trees collected from nature of: 1) roundleaved black ash (Fraxinus rotundifolia Mill.), 2) Austrian black pine (Pinus nigra ssp. austriaca (Hoess) Vid.) and 3) Hornbeam (Carpinus orientalis Mill.). The main point which characterize produced bonsai trees are: a) Identity of bonsai which can be recognized as Zan-related art work, b) Original decorative expression of cultivated trees. The decorativeness of morphological characteristic of tree species earlier not present in bonsai culture, c) Method of cultivation (of trees collected from natural environment) which can give excellent results in a short period of time.
