Summary: The research comprises the problem area of regional
subdivision and integrative processes of the Croatian teritory, then,
causes and consequences of regional economic disproportions of the
development of Croatia and social-economic basis for ascertaining
particular interests of regional development. On the basis of the research
carried out in such a way, the basic outline of regionalism in the
political-economic system of the Republic of Croatia is defined.

Research goals: The goal of the project is to establish a scientific
basis for a more realistic evaluation of the possibilities for the
development of particular regional entities of Croatia through elaboration
of the basis and policy of the regional development of Croatia. Another
goal of the project is to determine the critical limits of
disproportionate development, to elaborate the basis for ascertaining
particular interests of the Republic of Croatia in the development of its
particular parts and to analyse political-economic characteristics of
districts and their role in the overall development of Croatia. Other information about the project.
