Summary: Research activities oriented on market mechanism in its
classical manner, and especially in the light of new requirement of market
regulated economy in Croatia are the source of enrichment of knowledge on
market mechanisms in consumption and production. Obtained research results,
theoretically approved using present paradigms, enable better functioning
of economy in conditions of transition and emerging postindustrial era of
informatics. The importance of ethics as the determinant of market
mechanism is emphasized.

Research goals: Known scientific research of market transparency as
the condition of general, and especially of regional development, has been
used for identification of the research goals of this project, having in
mind subgoals specified as expectation to contribute to the knowledge of
market mechanism. Dynamics of market phenomenon requires permanent research
of influencies of economic, as well as sociological, psychological and
legal changes on market. Expected results are in pointing on the importance
of market transparency, especially in consumption and production, and to
analyse the process and problems of economic transition in Croatia. Other information about the project.
