feel well an Aesthetic dimension of therapy". The chosen themesin creative
therapy were backed up with music, movements and bodysymbols connected with
some elements significant of patientscoping with the disease, body-image

Summary: The purpose of the present study was to examine the effects
ofmultiple convergent therapy on pain relief by using of music
inkynesitherapy with breast cancer patient after mastectomy.
The conceptual model of the Gate Control Theory of Pain isdescribed and the
data are presented concerning each patientsprogress in pain relief. The
significant changes in patients painperception during multiple convergent
stimulation were identifiedand they are presented in graphic and quality

Summary: On the assumption that body movement in non-verbal therapy
is themedium just as words are medium of verbal therapy, the
authorsfocussed on some issues that are essential to the practice
oftherapy: creativity and self-regulation on the continuum ofexistential
tension, tension flow rhythms, aesthetic dimensionand the expressive
language of body symbolisation. The authorsconcluded with thesis that
through the area of personal symbolsand process of creativity in therapy,
physical, psychological, social and spiritual levels of a person's behaviour
can becontacted.

Summary: This study investigated ways of alleviating some levels
ofexistential tension in breast cancer patients after mastectomy.Fifteen
breast cancer patients aged 40 - 45 years received eighthalf hour therapy
sessions with the control of simultaneousEMG-biofeedback of mimic muscle
activity. Analysis for definedvariables shows positive inclinations to
changes in patientsself-perceptions as well as it suggests that
computorizedquantitative EMG monitoring of covert mimic muscle activity
mayoffer new perspectives in quantitative assesmentss of emotion

Summary: Since symptoms in the cancer patients are recognased as
ofbiopsychosocial nature a hypothesis are used according to whichdimension
of therapy involves existentional and bihevioralvariables of evaluation.
When the proces of evaluation isanchored in the existential analysis then
it stresses what personexperience while existential analysis emphasises the
manifoldcharacter of body-mind unity. When it is anchored in thebehavioral
analysis then it stresses action over insiteperfomance over verbalisation
therefore focusing on deepstructural changes biofeedback, art and guided
imaginationintermediary objects and multiple convergent approach in
painrelief were used.

Summary: Unnpropriate perceptive focusing and ideoaffective
conceptualisation have an important role in producing apprasial, coping
biases and negative self-esteem in the most breast cancer patients.
Supportive creative therapy was applied and evaluation was made using
SCL-90 test and visual analogue scales concerning self-estimation,
body-image and aesthetic dimension. A projective color grid techniques were
developed to study body-image in which the relationship between the
body-image and ideal self can be considered. The orginal data obtained
through discriminative analysis shows that although changes in depression
before and after therapy are not significant, a psitive tendency of changes
(0.50 standard deviations) can be noticed.

Summary: Links between the genesis of creativity, traumas, distress,
psychological, psychosocial, endocrinological and immunological mediators
are numerous and important. Our clinical studies in different areas of
brain injury, traumas, autism, congenital malformations and cancer tend to
focus and transaction within the core of the intra-, inter- and
transpersonal aspects of creativity.
In multiple convergent and bio-existential approach, an evaluation of
creative therapy was conducted using biofeedback, symptoms check list,
visual analogue scales, body-image and aesthetic dimension. The proces of
creativity in its prophylactic and therapeutic function is considered in
the areas of bio-existential experience, transcedental variables and
self-rating.

research consists of diferent unconventional supportive treatment
approaches with breast cancer patients in terms of evaluation and therapy
decision making. Folowing proposed model a logical progression from

Summary: The major effort in this research is to offer scientific
guidlines to potential of life resource development in the next main areas:
breast cancer and childhood cancer. Folowing cross-cultural signification
of archetypal symbols illustrating developmentally women-mother-child
relationship in human beings, theoretical and practical model of supportive
therapies were proposed. Focusing on structural changes in patient's
experience (pain, anxiety, fear, endocrinilogical and immunological
mediators...) the supportive therapy aproach was used by the application of
guided imagery, biofeedback, body-symbolisation, melotherapeutic and
psychodramatic influences.

Summary: In this research we studied the effects of stress on the
cortisol and catecholamines secretion in 5 women with benign breast desease
and 5 women with breast cancer, before and after creative therapy.
Preliminary results could suggest that creative supportive therapy
positivly influenced the stress reducing and endocrinological status in
patients with bening and malignant breast diseases.

Summary: Supportive creative therapy could be helpful in eliminating
possible immunosuppressive effects of stress and may be in reducing
RT-induced immunosuppression. Our pilot study with determination of number
of leukocytes, lymphocites, and antural killer (NK) cells, granulocyte and
monocyte phagocytosis and NK cell activity in two group of breast cancer
patients at the end of RT, one of them being on supportive therapy, showed
less pronounced depression of immunity in patients on suportive therapy.

ofexistential anxiety after mastectomy. The orginal data wereobtained
throgh RDA programme for Robust discriminative analysis,Morrison programme
and modification of Morrison programe.
Quality analysis for defined variables indicates a positive withthe changes
of EMG-potentials of facial muscular activity. Itshows also a decrease in
the values of the depression, anxietyand hostylity, as well as a more
acceptable body-imageexperience.
