Summary: The Stete-of-the-art of Coding in productive enterprises has been unsatisfactory. The idnispensable improvements of the existing solutions occur rarelyand incompletely. Such behaviour renders more and more difficult the build-up of the up-to-date information systems, in spite of the ever increasing possibilities of Computers, of developments in the field of Coding and of the comprehensive activities dine in Standardization of description of business activities. In relations like these, existing bet the State and the possibilities, the Coding system project stands as an effort at pointing out the mades and procedures of easier and faster Transition from the existing unsettled to the future more Settled conditions in the field of business activities.

Research goals: Objects: To point out and prove the possibility, reasonablenessand indispensability of developing the integral and generallyapplicable Coding systems. Results: -Establishing the role and the significance of Coding inthe development and functioning of information system; -Proving the inappropriateness of the existing Codingsystem solutions; -Identifying the new conceptions in the field of coding; -Pointing out of the coding development trends.
