Summary: Second edition of this book, the first edition of which was
sold during the year of 1993, was developed in order to improve the quality
of a program itself. It was done by enriching the exercises and giving them
new contents wicčh would include parents in the phase of application of the
program. The need for completion occurred during the application of the
program in kindergartens of Zagreab. Developments and complements were made
after suggestions of experts in pre-school education which made this
program closer practical needs. By inputting the elements of better
connection of parents with performing the program, the success of
application increased too.

Summary: The book is concerned with fostering. Authors from many
countries of Europe And America deal with the specific problems of care
about children without parents. The chapter exposes consequences of
aggression on Croatia concerning the displacement of the population during

Summary: The paper deals with the consequences of the aggressive war
on the displaced children and possibilities of their removing. Comparison
of number of symptoms in children situated in foster families without their
own parents, with parents and in shelter where they live together with
their familz members and neighbours from their home lands shows that the
greatest number of szmptoms can be found in children surrounded with
members of their social network, and the least in children quite separated
from their families. Further on, results show decreasing number of
disorders in children in time function and application of complex help
program of psycho social adjustment to the displaced children and their
families situated in shelter.

Summary: Team of school medicine has been included inthe activity
offamily plaming department with a wiew to preventing unplanedpregnancies
and STD and AIDS. In target period the girls withsexual practice were using
unreliable kontraceptive methodes.
The results of citological examination after papanicolau aredistorbing
because of highfrequency of suspicious findings(15.48%) meant to be related

Summary: The paper deals with the problem of helping to satisfy
various needs of a large number of citizens who were, under the pressure of
war operation in Croatia, forced to leave their homes. In such a context it
has been possible to test effectivenss of some modrern approaches to the
solution of these complexissue. On the basis of social support theory,
social network and social exchange, the paper analyses the process of
satisfying the family needs of the refugee families in a local community in
Zagreb. The received data show that all the factors representing the
mentioned theories have been in that process. It has further beed proved
that the social network of these families has significantly been reduced
and chandged, and that some of their parts have, by an increased activity,
replaced the loss of others.
