Summary: The sequence of war events first in Croatia and then in Bosnia and Hercegovina stipulated the arrival time of refugees and displaced persons in Zagreb. This then has reflected upon the quality of accomodation and different integration in the process of education. Although the population itself isnot significant according to its number, every single destinyreflects the complexity of children's problems since theirupbringing has been taken over by their relatives, friends andeven state institutions as families' substitutes instead of theirparents. Bilocated family has lost the main part of its functionswhile the consequences have been felt by children in the keystage of their psychophysical growth.
