Summary: Italian etnic community in Croatia on the doorstep of the 21st century is in front of two chalenges: asimilation, andsegregation. Asimilation means her disapearance and segregation anoppsotion towards Croatian etnic majority. Because of that the etnic relations in these parts can be a constant source of unproductive conflicts and instabilities.
