Summary: Investigated with in the project are the correspondence,
manuscripts original works and activity of the Croatian scientists in the
field of mathematics, astronomy, physics, chemistry and technology, in
Croatia and abroad, as well as the development of the natural sciences in
Croatia. Based upon individual research and discussions on particular
problems or individual scientists, a synthesis on the development of the
natural sciences in Croatia in particular periods of time is made.
Research goals: The aim of the project is to discover and evaluate
the Croatian natural-historical heritage which has been unknown so far,
and to incorporate it with in the development of European natural
sciences. In addition to that, the aim of the project is to accomplish a
synthesis of the development of natural sciences in Croatia in individual
periods, and to explore systematically individual scientific theories and
problems which had been dealt with by Croatian authors. Other information about the project.
