age 3;1 to 3;3. In comparison to the monolingual children his
questions encompass a smaller scope of syntactically and

Summary: The basic theoretical assumption of verbotonal theory is
that the result of speech perception depends on the structure of listening
based on the mother tongue. Learning foreign language pronunciation
requires restructuring of listening patterns. This is aided by a system of
filters (SUVAG apparatus) which eliminate redundant acoustic information
and emphasize the optimal acoustic parameters of sounds, intonation and
rhythm.

Summary: The main purpose of abstracting is to construct a
representation of published items in a form suitable for inclusion in some
type of database. For this purpose, abstracts should be formally well
organized, topically relevant, and linguistically adequately verbalized. In
this respect, language should be viewed less from the linguistic
perspective, in the sense of grammar, and more as a complex mental activity
verbally realized by a text.
