Summary: The main interest of the project is the investigation of the relationship between the historiographic and literary discourse in their different kinds and forms. The recent practice of both discourse cannot be sufficiently explained in traditional terms, but only in terms of a new intellectual history as well as of a new narrative theory.

Research goals: To find the proper response to the unexpected "invasion of history" in the age of post-histoire. The results will be published in a reader containing several important authors of a new intellectual history (Ricoeur, Kosselleck, WWhite, La Copra, Veyue...) and in a book entituled "The Historiographic Fiction".
