In the first, Parać was orientated towards the contemporary articulation of music whith a pronounced emphasis on the vocal elements. This was a period of free atonality in which his musical expression was formed under the influence of European authorities (Berio, Ligeti, Maderna). The main charahteristics of Parać's musical expression in this perio are: tonality, the simplicity of the score and a modest level of tehnical difficulty of the compositions which, as a result, have become more accessible for both the performers and the listeners.
