Summary: Petrological, geochemical and mineralogical investigations of magmatic and metamorphic rocks, complexes and associations of Mesozoic and Cenozoic of the Dinarides, southern part of Pannonian basin and surrounding regions or geological units. Determination of the petrochemical petrological provincial characteristics, genese and geological evolution.

Research goals: Investigation of magmatic and metamorphic rocks of different regions of Mesozoic and Cenozoic, particularly petrological, geochemical and mineralogical characteristics, petrological character of magmatic and metamorphic provinces or associations, phase analyses of minerals and mineral parageneses, determinations of P-T conditions of genesis of the magmatic rocks and conditions of metamorphism. Geochronological determinations. Comparative analyses with the analogous magmatism and metamorphism of the Central and Southeast Europe. Investigation of no investigated or incomplete investigated rocks or rock complexes. Essential contributions to the knowledge of the structure, genesis and evolution of investigated regions, and correlation to the analogous magmatism and metamorphism of different regions and provinces.
