Summary: A Knowledge-based System (KBS) for Optimal Load Flow (OPF)
is developed in this Project. The proposed KBS, besides use of the
algorithmic of OPF, will take advantage of expert systems technique. KBS
will enable an optimal drive of Power System. The algorithmic of OPF will
use a modification gradient method. KBS will be use im Dispatch Centers to:
(1) Analysis; Computer helps a Dispatcher to make a right decision. It
collects and selects Service's data. Dispatcher uses OPF to estimate the
state of Power System. (2) Analysis and Optimization; Computer uses the
procedure of optimization automatically and suggests some options.
Dispatcher decides either accept or reject it. (3) Analysis, Optimization
and Automatically Drive; On the base of tep (1) and step(2) computer drives
with active power automaically.
Keywords: Optimal Power Flow, Knowledge-Based System, Power System
Research goals: The aim of the proposed research is a development of
the Knowledge-Based System (KBS) for Optimal Power Flow (OPF). The
algorithmic approach can not analyse any irregular constraints and
situations, which exist in a real Power System. Methodology of expert
system anables that. Knowledge and experience are collected and formed in
the heuristic rules. The heuristic rules are incorporated in an intelligent
software. This approach hasn't research with an original contribution of
science. Software will be used in Dispatcher Centers to drive Power
Systems. Other information about the project.
