Summary: Design of mathematical models for computing transients
and torsional oscillations of large turbine type generators. The aim of
this research is to analyze some elements of the mechanical design of
large synchronous machines in order to enable the choice of optimal
variants, its modelling and incorporation in a informative system.
Analysis of the characteristics of lap windings for high voltage machines
and judgment of the opportunity of theirs application. Research of the
corona shielding and partial discharge effects on models of high voltage
windings. Research on the pole fixing elements. Analysis of the
motion stability of hydrogenerator rotors taking into account elasticity
of the bearings, mass of the powerhouse, and other outer forces.
Design of a suitable mathematical model, choice of the system structure,
and synthesis of the brushless excitation system will be made, and this
with generator working on his own net as well as in the complicated power
system. Design of a system for automatic electromagnetic calculation
of synchronous generators. The system will consist of data base of
designed generators, some mathematical moduli connected to data base and
subsystem for working out documents.
Research goals: Design of a mathematical model for computing
transients of large turbine type generators on the base of the model
proposed by mathematical committee CIGRE. Analysis of elements which
make possible optimisation of the generator design: - windings
- design of corona shielding of high voltage windings - dynamics of
the shaft systems of turbogenerators - analysis of the shaft systems
of hydrogenerators Design of a mathematical model of a system for
automatical voltage regulation and a synthesis of different structures of
automatic regulation systems. Design of system for automatic
electromagnetic calculation and creation of required documentation of
synchronous machines.
