Summary: The intention of this project is to achieve following goals: a) Development of methods and software for management, production planning, scheduling and monitoring in manufacturing b) Graphical interfaces with applications in client-server and multimedia mailboxing architectures c) Development of database systems for various purposes in industry and administration d) Development of software tools for data base design and source code generation for target 4GLs. e) Development of highly specialized algorithms and software, e.g. automatic coding of textual data and time scheduling. Database systems combined with 4GLs and graphical interfaces, with embedded optimisation routines and other applied mathematics techniques are the means leading to this scope. Availability of own source code enables the necessary independency to combine the developed algorithms in a cost and performance effective way.
