Summary: Existing of main knowledge, engineering practice and
experimental models of combustion chamber and few plants give opportunity
for further fluidized bed combustion research of low grade brown coal,
lignite, biomass and alternate solid fuel. It also makes possibility for
researching of heat transfer in an inert material fluidized bed. Research
results are particulary applicable in creation of basic power plant
project, as well as in erection and exploitation of power plants. The same
results are also applicable as a new technology in heat treatment of
construction materials and parts.

Research goals: The main goal of this project is adoption of fluid
bed combustion technology for domestic low grade fuels in
theoretic,experimental and real exploitation conditions. The basic
expected results are : - creation of own mathematical models and packages
for simultaneous hydrodinamic and combustion process i fluidized bed, -
systematization of physical and chemical characteristics for bed
materials and various fuels with creation of application model for its
choice in various exploitation conditions, - creation of basic project data
for power plants and boilers designing with respect to strong air
pollution requirements. Expected implementation of research results are in
the following aspects : - development of tecnical solutions for power
plants and equipment, - development of methods and equipment for testing,
control and monitoring - development of methods in designing,
construction and exploitation of power plant, - introducing of fluidized
bed technology as an specific operation in material heat treatment.
Another expected scientific results are winning of new knowledge, personel
scientific and expert perfecting, as well as making own research base more
valuable.
