Summary: The recent development and application of polymer composites show possibilities of their successful application as quality material for a different underwater constructions. As tehnical properties of the polymeric composites depends of the production process as well as of the construction, it is necessary to investigate next: possibilities of numerical determining, in the stage of the designing, tehnical properties of the composites on the base of a known composition , structure and technical characteristics of the component; possibilities of numerical estimate of strength and elastic stability; possibilities of application with other materials.

Research goals: The goals of investigation is application of the polymeric composites for underwater constructions such as: - wet submersible provided for depth up to 100 m, - submersible provided for depth up to 600 m. For each of above mentioned construction it is need to carry out separate investigations which include: - The analysis of applicability of different materials. - The analitic determination of mechanical properties for different composites. - The analitic calculation of strength and elastic stability for typical forms of constructions. - Laboratory testings of mechanical properties of composites and evaluation with analitical data.
