Summary: In the practice it is necessary to undertake some experimental investigation of the typical flow situation becauseof verification the theoretical results and better understanding of some particular fluid flow problems. By developing in the new measuring techniques it is possible to obtain quite reliable results. As part of the project the investigation of typical rotatingflow was planed, with aim to check the existing results and expand the understanding of the phenomena. By performing a complicate measurement using sophisticate measurement device, like laser-Doppler anemometer, it is possible to carry out physical, qualitative and quantitative interpretation of the phenomena.

Research goals: Rotating fluid flow is one of the typical situation which occur in theoretical fluid mechanic. The theoretical and experimental investigation a performed in the past for the diferent typical flow situation with restriction on several geometry, boundary and initial condition. For want of the appropriate equipment, instead of the experimental, a number of the theoretical investigation are performed, based on numerical modeling of the same fluid flow situation. Also, an evaluation of usefulness of the existing correlation for practical problems in the heat and mass transfer by rotating fluid flow are performed.
