Summary: The stress state at tooth fillet and bottoms of an internal
spur gear fixed by bolts is determined. The influences of the rim
thickness, number of teeth, number of fixing bolts and supporting methods
on the stress are clarified. The stresses are measured by strain gages
measurement, examined by photoelasticity experiments and calculated by use
of finite element method.

Summary: The influences of the supporting conditions, dimensions of
the gear and the number of planet pinions on the tooth fillet and root
stresses of internal spur gear supported by pinned coupling which is
similar to geared coupling, have been clarified. The diferences have been
analysed between the stresses correspond to internal spur gears supported
by pinned coupling or/and fixed by bolts.
