Summary: The purpose of this project is to derive a new algorithm for dimensioning and designing of reinforced concrete structures, according to supposes of plastic analysis. Related data, taken from accessible literature, authors investigation up to this time, computer, some expiriences in building and designing of earthquake resistant structures, and normes, mostly american "ACI", and european "EC2" are used. The result will be the procedure for designing and building safe, economic and durabile reinforced and prestressed structures.

Research goals: rad na predloženoj temi predviđen je kao teoretsko- eksperimentalni. Eksperimentalna istraživanja ponašanja elemenata u području plastičnog zgloba su završena. Teoretska istraživanja se baziraju na podacima eksperimenata i onih pronađenih u dostupnoj literaturi. Rezultate dobivene po predloženoj metodi i po drugim postupcima se uspoređuju. Rade se numerički primjeri te prijedlozi za konstruiranje armature.
